Setiawan

Trying my best to get back into blogging. Nothing really interesting to update so far, was having some slow motion life back here but truly enjoyable. Crazy mid terms and assignments are crashing up none stop without notice.

Bobby bringing me problems once again.
Went to Setiawan to patched Bobby up, by the way, visited the town of bird nest as well as the land filled with Fu Zhou people.

Ko Lo Mee, looks ordinary at first like any other Wan Tan Mee, but trust me, this weird mee ONLY available in Setiawan and taste real good !

Went over to Pantai (near Lumut;Pangkor) to chill while waiting for Bobby body checkup. Didn't know that turtle can be found around the west coast.

For the first time I got to a beach that is so clean and only filled with a few people that is fishing.

It's clean, empty, quiet, isolated and beautiful (bikini girls). I am not talking about crystal clear sea water, but it looks just great.

When there is sea, there is seafood. 6 dishes of seafood, 1 vege, tea and extra rice, mmm, 99bucks ! ! !

Bobby looks better now, just a few more problems to be fix up soon when is due for service. I am not modifying but just maintaining =)

Anyways, entertainment and procrastination should be reduce or even down to zero. Degree cant be anything like honeymoon anymore, a bit of slack and I am done. For sure.

Got to start working hard, gonna finish this one damn chapter before sleeping -_-

'Group Study'

We are having some big time study group and decided to take a break by having card games and push ups as bets . . .

First Week Of My Second Semester

Its been awhile since I blog. 3 months of holiday past without me noticing, maybe its all because of those events happening at the end of 2008.

Felt funny recalling what have happen last year, been stressing over the car matters, complaining about too much of holiday, this and that. Well, everything is past tense now and a new year has come. Time to buckle up and make this year a greater one !

Getting back to Kampar can be a tough one when you are staying in Klang Valley and need buddies to car pool. Petrol is affordable but the toll kills !

Thank God that I am able to persuade my parents to give me my baby, I am not getting it for free though . . . 1k per sem for 5 semesters, what do you think ?

We have our first barbecue on the first night when everyone arrived. Opening ceremony, nicely done

After launching the opening ceremony, there will be a house warming to welcome golden luck in.
Thought that I was the founder of Teh Kundur as mixer but I was wrong, everyone knows about it. XD
Chilling around with some beers, first week of school without tutorials can be a real relaxing week =)
Food wasn't bad back in Kampar, went to Tg Tualang for dinner, river cuisine . . Those tiger prawns above are awesomely big and sweet

There will be always home cook food for dinner in my house, purpose is to reduce cost. Most of my pocket money can be converted into entertainment and car expenditure if I manage my meal very well

Being a brand ambassador for Renoma (just jk), I've invested in more underwear's rather than clothes for this coming CNY. Is very important for your little brother to feel comfortable while gambling. Hopefully that orange one brings me luck while gambling too. LoL

Herping

First of all, I would like to introduce the term *Herping*
Its basically getting into a forest or bushes, search for animals and study their ecosystem but if possible, hunt them ! =)

Well, this was my first herping trip, entered Hutan Lipur Ulu Bendul situated in Seremban around 7pm, it was so dark to walk along the path, dark as in black, needed a torch light to walked towards the camp site and it was real far, approximately 2 hours walk.

I've never been so close to nature before, setting up tent at 9.30pm, got bitten by horrible leeches, started fire by using twigs around me and worst of all, not seeing anything in front of me.

While walking towards our camp site, we herped along the path and bushes for reptiles and insects. I was amazed to see creatures crawling around a tree searching for food. You can only see all those when the sun goes down . . .

After setting up our camp and rested, we started herping deeper into the forest and this are some species that we discovered,

Mini scorpion, this species are the one that been processed into key chains as they cant grow big in size

Another species of centipedes

Some kind of lizard, not defined ...

Bell's anglehead lizard (Gonocephalus bellii)
I discovered this creature by shining around the trees. Fierce and aggressive dragon.

Marble slender toed gecko (Cyrtodactylus quadrivirgatus)

Forest skink (sphenomorphus scotophilus)

Earless agamid (Aphaniotus fuscus)

Peter's slender toed gecko (Cyrtodactylus consobrinus)

Very tame, small in size but quite long

When we woke up the next day, found a big hole on my friends bag, LoL
It was bitten by a jungle rat, all the food was scattered beside our tent . .

Since this was my first time herping, I considered it a great experience, mostly caught was lizards, didn't knew that lizards can be so beautiful compared to the ones we found at home.

My New Year Eve

Not looking forward for any big celebration, just a very simple one. no fireworks this time, avoiding jam and most importantly, Save Money . . !
Met up with Ak, Chee Howe and Johnson after some street party at my area.

Went to Morib beach before New Year, just chilling away and chatting by the beach ~ ~

Headed over to Ak friends house to join their party. Kinda sesat though

Thank God I knew Louis while clubbing last time. He was like the crowd entertainer and easily I got to know everyone with his drinking game.

Slowly, everyone went down . . . I felt strong there =)

I *forgot* their names, but they looks alike . Haha. Down too

On my way back, something real horrible happens, panic me real bad on the first day of new year, thanks dad for saving me, love you =)
